摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply detecting the genotype or mutation of a target genom, especially the genotype of a virus genome infected to a viral hepatitis patient, for grasping a morbid state, a prognosis of progress of the illness and also the effects of various treatments on each of infected patients, and since the immobilization of nucleic acid fragments is indispensable to perform the above method, to develop a simple and efficient method for immobilizing the nucleic acid fragments on an insoluble support material (e.g. a micro titer plate), and to provide a method and a kit for easily examining the characteristics of the virus genome from a serum sample by simplifying the processes of extraction, purification and amplification necessary for the detection of the genotype of the virus genome. <P>SOLUTION: This method for discriminating the genotype or mutation of the target nucleic acid and the method for immobilizing the gene fragments on the insoluble support material are provided.
