<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for collecting a DNA by which a target cDNA fragment is precisely collected from a group of cDNA fragments including various kinds of the cDNA fragments mixed therewith. <P>SOLUTION: The method for collecting the DNA involves the first PCR step for subjecting the group of the cDNA fragments having the first adaptor sequence at one terminal and the second adaptor sequence at the other terminal to a PCR by using the first primer having not only a sequence complementary to the first adaptor sequence, but also a labeling material, and the second primer having a sequence complementary to the second adaptor sequence. The method also involves an electrophoresis step for subjecting the group of the cDNA fragments amplified at the first PCR step to gel electrophoresis, and a collecting step for collecting the cDNA fragments by cutting out a gel containing the target cDNA fragment from the gel based on the effects of the electrophoresis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
