PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To a gas chromatograph apparatus in which air flowing through a thermostat flows granularly, which is connected to an improvement in the replacement efficiency of air in the thermostat which improves a cooling efficiency of the thermostat, and to provide a method for forming an air channel in the gas chromatograph apparatus. SOLUTION: A cylindrical air channel 33 in which a separating means (column 8), a heater and a fan are installed, is formed of an inner tank wall 21 having a cylindrical member 22, a suction valve 4 and an exhaust valve 5 provided at a center in the thermostat in such a manner that air is circulated to flow through the air channel.
