PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: excess oil of a pair of regulators provided for an oil pump for an automatic transmission is returned to oil paths communicating with an oil pan, however, the flows of oil from the respective oil paths hit each other, and a cavitation limit is lowered, which causes generation of noises at a high speed. SOLUTION: The second oil path (23) formed on a pump body (2) is directly connected with a suction port (15) through an outlet (26). A protruding section (27) is formed at an outlet (24) of the second oil path (22), and a flow B of oil from the second oil path (22) is made to meet the flow A of oil from an opening (19) leading to the oil pan. With this constitution, a flow C of oil from a third oil path (23) will not hit the flows A and B of oil. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
