PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post unit that is easy to be erected, and a fence exclusively for wildlife damage prevention that effectively uses such post units and offers a fulfilling wildlife damage preventing function. SOLUTION: The post unit U comprises a hollow post 1 having a three-layer structure where an inner layer 101 of thermoplastic resin, an intermediate layer 102 of fiber-reinforced setting resin and a coating layer 103 of thermoplastic resin are closely bonded together, and a formed into a tip point shape at its lower end pile 2 having a hollow portion capable of storing a given length portion of the lower end of the post 1.
