<p>An intraocular lens for inhibiting PCO and glare includes an optic having a periphery provided with a sharp edge which presses against the posterior capsule wall thereby creating a barrier to LEC migration. While the sharp edge forms a 90 DEG angle, the anterior peripheral surface portion extends along an arc which directs incident light striking the edge of the lens away from the retina.</p> |
