<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide for a user a system which utilizes a CD which is brought by the user and has karaoke musical pieces registered therein, and performs streaming play of karaoke musical pieces and selects musical pieces by retrieval with a keyword. <P>SOLUTION: A video/sound reproducing device is connected to a karaoke management device through a communication network and is provided with an input information transmission means for accepting input information from a remote controller to transmit the input information to the karaoke management device and a retrieval information reception means for receiving information related to karaoke from the karaoke management device, and the karaoke management device is provided with a database wherein information related to karaoke is registered, an input information reception means for receiving input information from the video/sound reproducing device, and a retrieval information transmission means for retrieving the database on the basis of received input information to transmit pertinent information related to karaoke to the video/sound reproducing device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
