<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the displacement without using a displacement sensor, and also, to make a position control part and a motor control part to be independent by detecting the rotating magnetic field in a bearing-less rotary machine. <P>SOLUTION: Rotor displacement and the rotating magnetic field are simultaneously detected by newly forming an additional coil and by applying a high frequency voltage. In this way, the rotor displacement and the rotation magnetic field can be simultaneously detected from the additional coil. Reduction in costs, miniaturization, and critical velocity can be improved, and at the same time, a multi-purpose inverter and a commercial power supply can be used on the motor side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
