ATMOSPHERIC AIR CLEANING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decontaminate contaminants contained in exhaust gas by advancing oxidation reaction and reduction reaction at a low temperature and at a high temperature at the same time.

SOLUTION: This atmospheric scavenging apparatus is provided with a photocatalyst coated on a heat exchanger of an automobile and a light source. The atmosphere containing the contaminants is made to pass through the heat exchanger to stimulate the photocatalyst, so that the contaminants are decontaminated by the stimulated photocatalyst.
