<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch plate, a friction clutch, a driving force transmission device, and a manufacturing method of the clutch plate capable of providing with favorable adhesiveness a diamond like carbon thin film to a sliding face formed with fine uneven parts. <P>SOLUTION: A shot blasting process is applied to the sliding face S2 of an iron plate body P, and the fine uneven parts are formed on the sliding face S2. The diamond like carbon thin film is formed on the sliding face S2 formed with the fine uneven parts. By forming the fine uneven parts on the sliding face S2 by the shot blasting process, rust (an oxide film) of the sliding face S2 is blasted or cleaned off. In the diamond like carbon thin film D, glow discharge is more uniform in inverse proportion to the amount of a contaminated film such as the oxide film in the sliding face S2 formed with the film, and adhering force to the sliding face S2 can be enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
