OPTICAL FIBER COUPLER PACKAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and inexpensive integrated optical fiber coupler package in which many optical fiber couplers are integrally packaged.

SOLUTION: In the optical fiber coupler package with structure that a fixed substrate to which a welded drawn type optical fiber coupler is fixed is stored in a package, the fixed substrate 21 is made into columnar, a plurality of recessed grooves 22 from one end to the other end of the fixed substrate 21 are formed on the surface and the optical fiber couplers (welded drawn parts 13) are fixed to the recessed grooves 22 respectively. Only one fixed substrate 21 is required, its cross section may be small and package size can be made smaller in comparison with the conventional case.
