<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent peeling of a semiconductor substrate and an electrode due to a difference in a heat shrink rate between the electrode and an inner lead and peeling of the electrode and the inner lead when the electrode and the inner lead of a solar battery element are thermally welded. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of finger electrodes 7 and 9 are disposed on both sides of the semiconductor substrate 1 having pn junction. Band-like bus bar electrodes 6 and 8 connecting the finger electrodes 7 and 9 are disposed. The bus bar electrode 8 on the rear side is disposed in such a way that a center line of a longitudinal direction is not overlapped with a center line in a longitudinal direction of the bus bar electrode 6 on the surface side.
