<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately obtain the toner concentration of developer in the image forming apparatus of a wet development system. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming condition by which ≥90% of toner in the developer at a developing position sticks to a photoreceptor 11 is previously obtained and is stored in a memory 116. Then, a patch image is formed on the photoreceptor 11 on the image forming condition, and the image density of the patch image is detected by a patch sensor 17, and the toner concentration of the developer is obtained based on the image density, and the driving of a pump driving part 118 or 119 is controlled and also the display of an operation display panel 7 is controlled in accordance with the toner concentration obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
