PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing negative charge type toner having excellent coloring power and a good hue, giving a high quality printed image excellent in color reproducibility, exhibiting a stable static charge property even in long-time continuous printing and usable in an electrostatic charge image developing device whose speed widely ranges from low to high speed. SOLUTION: In the electrostatic charge image developing negative charge type toner comprising a binder resin, a colorant and a charge control agent, the colorant comprises a blue inorganic pigment and the charge control agent comprises a metal salt or complex of benzilic acid, organic bentonite and/or a compound represented by formula 1.
