PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide switch capable of widening the freedom of placement, restraining an increase of weight while maintaining necessary strength, and improving accuracy of detection. SOLUTION: With respect to an inhibitor switch 1 equipped with a polar board 3 having a fixed contact, a resin-made movable board 13 fixing and supporting a movable contact, movable so as to slide the movable contact against the fixed contact at a given contact pressure, and a drive pin 47 integrally fitted to the movable board 13 and engaged with a member of an automatic transmission side to move the movable board 13 in response to a movement of the automatic transmission side, a drive protrusion part 47 is formed at one end of a shaft 11 by die-cast molding, and the other end of the shaft 11 is integrally joined with the movable board 13 by insertion molding of resin.
