PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens having the trim of columnar surface shape and having directivity in action characteristic, and capable of easily and accurately turning its direction where specified action is made effective to a specified radial direction in a lens frame, and the lens frame holding such a lens. SOLUTION: The lens 1 is constituted so that a dowel 1a may be formed to project at a position most proximate to a 1st surface R1 on a 2nd surface R2 where a rotationally symmetric axis Ax2 is inclined to the center axis of the edge of the columnar surface shape. Then, the lens frame 2 is constituted so that a zonal surface to be butted 2c inclined to a center axis direction may be formed on a boundary between a large-diameter part 2a large enough to fit the lens 1 and a small-diameter part 2b having an inside diameter smaller than the large-diameter part 2a and also arranged coaxially with the large-diameter part 2a. The lens frame 2 is constituted so that a dowel hole 2d may be bored at a position nearest to the large-diameter part 2a in the center axis direction on the surface to be butted 2c.
