PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a decrease of life by preventing breakage of a circulation top. SOLUTION: This ball screw device comprises: a nut; a screw shaft; the circulation top 30; and a rolling element. In the ball screw device, a tongue part 34 of the circulation top 30 scoops up the rolling element from a load raceway track between the nut and the screw shaft, to guide the rolling element to a rolling element circulating passage 32 of the circulation top 30. This ball screw device is constituted such that the tongue part 34 expands toward the load raceway track from an edge part of the rolling element circulating passage 32, and a ridge line 42 formed by coupling an edge 38 of a running surface 36 on the tongue part 34 to an edge 40 of the rolling element circulating passage 32 is formed of one curved line sequentially changing in a curvature.
