PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic operation system for an air compressor capable of reducing introduction cost by group control with minimum-scale equipment and improving energy coefficient by lowering setting pressure for automatic operation based on a preset program corresponding to the operating condition of a load. SOLUTION: By installing the inverter type variable-speed air compressor 8-1 and the plurality of constant-speed air compressors 8-2 and 8-3 and using the operation program preset so as to supply required compressed air amount of the load according to changes in the conditions of the respective loads 3-1 to 3-4, the constant-speed air compressors 8-2 and 8-3 are additionally operated in order.
