摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the concentration of blue-white smoke generated in exhaust gas and to shorten the generation time of blue-white smoke by increasing the temperature rise speed in a swirl chamber at the cold start of a diesel engine, and to suppress the degradation of combustion performance following the fall of a compression ratio caused by expansion deformation by suppressing the expansion deformation of a mouthpiece peripheral wall under explosion pressure in the swirl chamber. SOLUTION: An outer peripheral surface intermediate height part 13 and an outer peripheral surface lower side part 14 of the mouthpiece peripheral wall 3 are formed in downward narrowed shape gradually reduced in diameter toward the lower part from the upper part. An outer peripheral surface upper side part 15 is formed as a cylindrical surface smoothly rising continuously from the outer peripheral surface intermediate height part 13. A downward widened heat insulating space 16 gradually enlarged in breadth from the upper part toward the lower part is formed between the outer peripheral surface intermediate height part 13 and outer peripheral surface lower side part 14, and the inner peripheral surface of the mouthpiece attaching hole 8.
