PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection device for a manhole, in which a skilled builder is not required when a main pipe is connected to the manhole and which can be connected under the liquid-tight state rapidly and surely by a simple operation. SOLUTION: An elastic packing 8 is installed so as to be brought into contact elastically with the opening peripheral section 3a of a mounting hole 3 for the manhole 1, wires 15 are wound on the outer peripheral surface of the packing 8 and a tension bolt section 16 is passed through anchors 12 and 13 and a nut member 17 is clamped to the tension bolt section 16. The wires 15 are pulled under the tensed state and the packing 8 is wound and clamped and brought into contact elastically with the outer peripheral section of a sleeve pipe section 6 under the liquid-tight state. Consequently, the opening peripheral section 3a of the mounting hole 3 and the sleeve pipe section 6 are sealed under the liquid-tight state, and the main pipe H can be connected to the manhole 1 surely under the liquid-tight state.
