PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair treating agent having excellent preservation stability and antiseptic stability without degrading a contained oxidizing agent with time. SOLUTION: This hair treating agent comprises the oxidizing agent characterized as formulating a 1,2-alkanediol therein.
