PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overturning device capable of safely overturning an unmovable heavy object manually. SOLUTION: A bottom part bearing part 12 is a part for receiving bottom part of an overturning object P and has an opening/closing device 5 hung on the object P at one end side in the rear in the rotation direction A1. A side surface bearing part 11 is a part for receiving side surface of the object P and fixed on the bottom part bearing part 12 on the opposite end side, and it has an opening/closing device 4 hung on the object P at the upper end side. The bottom part bearing part 12 and the side surface bearing part 11 form a space for placing the overturning object, opened at the other side of the bottom part bearing part 12.
