PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium storing device capable of making a required space for installation smaller without enlarging an image formation device body. SOLUTION: A reverse re-feeding device (recording medium storing device) 22 is retractably attached to a copying machine device (image formation device body), and a single-face recorded paper is inserted and once stored in the device. A guide member 50 rotating to a raised position when attached to the copy machine body and reversely rotating and returning to a non-raised position when retracted from the copying machine body is provided to the reverse re-feeding device in front of a recording medium inserting direction I. A second guide member 58 rotating against the guide member to a raised position together with the rotation of the guide member, and reversely rotating against the guide member together with the reverse rotation of the guide member and returning to a non-raised position is attached to the guide member and provided in front of a recording medium inserting direction.
