PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a cylinder type fork mover generates oil leakage in a vehicle in a high heat environment because a seal or the like is weak against heat or hinders the visibility of an operator, and a chain drive type damages and bends a screw in operation due to adhesion of mud or the like to the screw. SOLUTION: In this chain drive fork mover, a combination of a sprocket 4 and a chain 3 is used by providing a hydraulic motor 1 which uses hydraulic pressure fed from a pump of the vehicle, and a fork 1 is directly driven by connecting the chain 3 with the fork 2 without using a reduction gear between the hydraulic motor 1 and the fork 2.
