PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening speed reducing structure of a glove box capable of inexpensively and securely reducing the opening speed of the glove box by using a pressure-contact member such as a leaf spring without reducing the capacity of the glove box. SOLUTION: In this glove box arranged in the opening of an instrument panel in a vehicle room and mounted turnably centered on a support shaft, a pin 3 is arranged on the side face of the glove box 2 rotating centered on the support shaft 6 by drawing a circular arc, and the leaf spring 4 coming into pressure-contact with the pin is arranged along the turn locus of the pin 3. When the glove box 2 is opened, the pin slides against the pressure-contact force of the leaf spring 4 to obtain an opening speed reducing effect. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
