PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front vehicle body structure of a midship vehicle which efficiently absorbs the collision energy by both a side frame and a sub frame in a collision of a vehicle, and diffuses the collision energy to a vehicle body side. SOLUTION: A sub frame 14 extends in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body, substantially S-shaped bent portions 52 and 52 are provided on a rear portion of the sub frame 14, and rear end portions of the bent portions 52 and 52 are fitted to outriggers 12 and 13 as the vehicle body side. In addition, catcher members 23 and 24 to catch the bent portions 52 and 52 when the bent portions 52 and 52 are moved backwardly are provided on the outriggers 12 and 13 behind the bent portions 52 and 52. In this configuration, even when a front portion of the vehicle body is collided and the shock load is transmitted to the front side frame and the sub frame, the shock load is transmitted to the catcher members, and a floor frame and a floor panel on the vehicle body side from the sub frame via the bent portions.
