摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a laser marking apparatus capable of preventing deterioration in marking accuracy by minimizing a load applied to a gimbal mechanism when an external force is applied to a pendulum fixed to prevent its reciprocation. SOLUTION: The laser marking apparatus has the pendulum 20 reciprocatably supported by the gimbal mechanism 15 and a laser beam source unit which includes the laser beam source mounted on the pendulum 20 and an optical part which irradiates a laser beam from the laser beam source in a predetermined direction. A retention member 24 which retains the pendulum 20 made unable to reciprocate is provided. The retention member 24 comprises a pair of elastic bodies which sandwich the pendulum 20 from both sides of the periphery. An external force is applied to the pendulum 20 retained by the retention member 24 and if the pendulum 20 is likely to reciprocate, a load applied to the pendulum is absorbed by allowing the retention member 24 comprising the elastic bodies to be bent to reduce a load applied to the gimbal mechanism 15.
