PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an optical scanning device which has superior stability of a light spot and high stability of imaging magnification of a scanning imaging lens and an image forming device using the same. SOLUTION: In the optical scanning device deflects a group of light beams emitted by a plurality of light sources by a common deflecting means 5 and guides them to different scanned surfaces 7Y to 7K by scanning and imaging optical systems L1, and L2Y to L2K to form light spots and optical scan the scanned surfaces, a scanning and imaging lens comprises two or more scanning lenses and the scanning lens L1 closest to the deflecting means has positive refracting power in a vertical scanning direction; and the scanning lenses L2Y to L2K closest to the scanned surfaces have positive refracting power in both the horizontal and vertical directions and the scanning lens L1 closest to the deflecting means 5 is made common to the light beams traveling to the different scanned surfaces.
