PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable type X-ray apparatus of excellent design for which the number of components is reduced, manufacture time is shortened, weight is reduced and an appearance is improved. SOLUTION: In this movable type X-ray apparatus provided with an X-ray part for irradiating an object with X-rays, an arm part for supporting the X-ray part and an elevating / lowering mechanism for elevating and lowering the arm part, a cylindrical member used for constituting the movable type X-ray apparatus is constituted of an extrusion molded member. By using the extrusion molded member for the cylindrical member constituting the movable type X-ray apparatus, troublesome work such as welding work is eliminated and thus a dimension is stabilized. Further, manufacture is facilitated without the increase of the number of the components. Also, since the cylindrical member is molded by extrusion molding, the degree of freedom of the design of the appearance is increased and the design without an oppressive feeling to a patient can be attained as well.
