Electric razor using foil cutters automatically adjusted to contact skin

The razor actuator head (1) has cutters (2,3,4)) connected electrically to the bases of transistors (10,11,12) in the electronic circuit (9). If a cutter is in contact with the skin current flows through body resistance (18) turning on the appropriate transistor indicating that contact exists. Zero current indicates no contact and driver (17) energizes the motor drive (7) adjusting the position of the head until contact is made.
