<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a view field at a desired position of a moving object and to appropriately display an image, regardless of the arrangement and the number of means for detecting environment information in the periphery of the moving object. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with an environment information detecting means SR for detecting environment information such as the size and position of an object in the periphery of the moving object and storing the information, and a moving object information detecting means MB for successively detecting the position and posture of the moving object and storing the detected information. The detected information is composited by an information compositing means CB, and the relation of the relational position and posture of the moving object with respect to the environment of the periphery of the moving object is corrected and outputted. A specified view field forming means SV forms a specified view field from the environment information near the specific position of the moving object, and a display means SV displays the specified view field on an image. The means SR estimates a three-dimensional coordinate on the basis of e.g. a state of the moving object when picking up at least two images while the moving object is moving and the image information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
