<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified polymer electrolyte film with improved electrical characteristics such as ionic conductivity. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the modified polymer electrolyte film and the modification method for the polymer electrolyte film are as follows. The polymer electrolyte film is annealed at a temperature of 100°C or higher. The range of annealing temperature is 110°C to 250°C. The polymer electrolyte film is a composite film of a polymer electrolyte and a supporting material. A support base material is a porous membrane.
