<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium to be recorded by inkjet capable of controlling either spreading property or the diameter of a dot to be formed by making wide kinds of fillers as objects and changing compatibility of ink in accordance with degree of improvement while a single layer is used for an ink receiving layer composed of an assembly thereof without making the ink receiving layer into multi-layered one. <P>SOLUTION: In the medium to be recorded by inkjet in which the ink receiving layer prepared by dispersing a filler in a binder is formed on a base material, the filler whose surface is modified with a water-soluble resin with an ionic group being reversely polar to the surface electric charge of the filler in water or a solid particle to be charged to reverse polarity, is used. In addition, it may be possible that after the surface of the filler is modified with a semi-polar organic boron compound, the surface of the filler is modified with the water-soluble resin with the ionic group being reversely polar to the surface electric charge of the filler in water or with the solid particle to be charged to reverse polarity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
