<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap device including a tether mechanism for suspending a cap from a fueling lid, for preventing degradation in operability of the cap even if it gets wet by rainwater or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cap includes a torque member 90 rotatably mounted on a casing body 20, and the tether mechanism 100 is mounted on the member 90. The tether mechanism 100 includes a tether rotary carrier 101 rotatably mounted on the torque member 90, and a coupling member 110. The torque member 90 is formed of a polyacetal and is formed of a resin material having swelling property against a liquid approximately equal to or smaller than that of the tether rotary carrier 101 formed of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPEE). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
