<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems associated with prior apparatuses, such that complications of prior physiological sample collecting apparatuses make the users unfriendly and cause an increase in the production cost. <P>SOLUTION: A method is provided for producing an apparatus for collecting a physiological sample and measuring the concentration of a particular component within the collected physiological sample. The apparatus is in a form of a test strip having a biosensor and at least one skin piercing element which is a planer extension of the biosensor.
