<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time indicating device and an in-vehicle information device wherein the time corresponding to an area is indicated by calculating the time based on the time data received from outside. <P>SOLUTION: A GPS signal transmitted from the GPS satellite SA is received by a GPS sensor 11c of a navigation unit 100, and demodulated. From the demodulated GPS signal, the time information is extracted and converted into the time (hour minute) corrected by a time difference corresponding to the area where a navigation device 1 is being used. The calculated time is updated in every minute, a second counter is provided in a graphic master 200, which is reset/restarted at every updating time, the time of a second unit is obtained. A display monitor 300 displays the time corresponding to the area in the second unit by synthesizing the time calculated by the navigation unit 100 and the second unit time counted by the graphic master 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
