<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital effect giving device which realize the same musical effect as an analog effect giving device using a BBD. <P>SOLUTION: An LPF is provided in a loop circuit, which changes a cut-off frequency so as to make the cut-off frequency higher/lower for a longer/shorter delay of a delay circuit in the loop circuit in order to simulate frequency characteristics for a clock of the BBD. A multiplication means is provided in the loop circuit, which controls the amount of attenuation of a musical sound signal with a multiplication coefficient of which the value is made higher/lower for a longer/shorter delay of a delay means by considering only insertion loss of the BBD. Thus the problem is solved that the same effect as an analog circuit cannot be obtained by simulation with a digital circuit though some effect giving devices constituted of the analog circuit use the BBD to make it possible to obtain musically preferable musical sounds peculiar to analog apparatus by characteristics of BBD. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
