PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the stator winding method of the induction motor for compressors removing a harmonic component due to the concentration of magnetic flux by preventing the concentration phenomenon of the magnetic flux. SOLUTION: This stator winding method is characterized by winding main/auxiliary windings in a manner of through adjacent slots of a stator in accordance with a fixed rule in a state of concentrated winding to make the main/auxiliary windings overlap in at least the two or more arbitrary slots. The overlapped parts of the main/auxiliary windings are provided in four places in the case of single-phase two-pole eight slots, in eight places in the case of single-phase two-pole 12-slots, in four places or 12 places in the case of single-phase two-pole 16 slots, in four places in the case of single-phase four-pole 12-slots, and in six places in the case of three-phase two-pole 12 slots. In this way, the main/auxiliary windings are not wound to be concentrated in the concerned slot but wound to be overlapped in some of the required slots, so that the concentration phenomenon as occurring in the past does not occur.
