摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas heat pump type refrigeration device capable of controlling the flow rate of a refrigerant pump added to a refrigeration device by a simple method, and to provide its control method. SOLUTION: This gas heat pump type refrigeration device is provided with a gas engine drive type compressor 1, a condenser 5, a liquid receiver 7, and an expansion valve 9 and an evaporator 11. In this case, the refrigeration device is equipped with: an exhaust heat recovering heat exchanger 13 fed with gas engine cooling water; a first circuit 23 for guiding the liquid refrigerant accumulated in the liquid receiver 7 to the heat exchanger 13 through the refrigerant pump 19 by bypassing the compressor 1 and the evaporator 11 and for guiding the refrigerant subjected to heat exchange in the heat exchanger 13 to the condenser 5; a first electric-operated valve 21 installed in the first circuit 23; a second circuit 24 for returning the refrigerant discharged from the refrigerant pump 19 to the receiver 7; a second electric-operated valve 25 installed in the second circuit 24; and a control means 31 for controlling, to an appropriate value according to the load of the compressor 1, the flow rate of the refrigerant discharged to the heat exchanger 13 from the pump 19 by regulating the valve opening of the two valves 21 and 25.
