PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture capable of preventing a cold-cathode discharge tube from being damaged by excessive external force at installation, and capable of finishing up a replacement of a cold-cathode discharge tube alone by the replacement thereof. SOLUTION: A semi-transparent second translucent cover 07 is fitted beforehand in front of the cold-cathode discharge tube 03 so as to cover the cold-cathode discharge tube 03, consequently, an installation work is possible without directly touching the cold-cathode tube 03. Since no excessive external force is applied on the cold-cathode discharge tube 03, a damage to the cold-cathode discharge tube 03 can be prevented. Further, since the cold-cathode discharge tube 03 fitted inside the second translucent cover 07 is visible and the installation work is done after recognizing the existence of a lamp, the damage of the cold-cathode discharge tube 03 can be surely prevented.
