PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of mortar so as to improve durability and antifouling property, which are required for mortar, by improving in the formulation of the mortar, which is not found in conventional techniques. SOLUTION: In a method for producing the mortar, water and oil are added to a material obtained by incorporating powdery titanium oxide and granular marble into mortar containing slaked lime as a main component. Further, rutile type titanium dioxide is used as the titanium oxide, and Kansui-stone is used as the marble.
