DUAL POLARIZATION ANTENNA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual polarization antenna which features a larger beam width than the conventional antennas and improved electrical characteristics. SOLUTION: The dual polarization antenna has two or more modules arranged along the antenna axis. Each module has an emission element and four conductive walls each of which is composed by combining this element and a frame surrounding the element. Each wall has a remote edge and a pair of side edges. The side edges do not contact each other but cross in a respective corners of the frame. The conductive wall assembly is placed between a pair of emission elements. Each wall assembly is practically U-shaped when observed in a section obtained along the antenna axis.
