摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image supervisory system which immediately and accurately grasps a distinct profile unique to a person committing a criminal or illegitimate act in a shop to create a likeness and automatically informing a shop clerk or an external agency or the like about it. SOLUTION: The image supervisory system is provided with: many imaging means installed at prescribed points at which people enter and leave an entrance; an image processing means for extracting a distinct profile of a face of a person from video information imaged by the imaging means; a similarity discrimination section that converts the distinct profile of the face obtained by the image processing means into graphic data and discriminates the similarity of the graphic data to graphic data of a plurality of standard images registered in advance; a likeness generating means that combines the respective graphic data on the basis of position information of the graphic data of the standard images registered in advance when the discrimination result of the similarity discrimination section indicates a similarity; and a means for providing the graphic data and the distinct profile image of the photographed video information to a monitor requiring them.
