PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find an insulation deterioration site before earth faulting takes place by allowing on-line insulation deterioration diagnosis in the state of feeding trolley. SOLUTION: A vibration detector 44 is installed on an insulator 42 supporting a trolley line 10 for frequency analysis of vibration arising in the insulator during feeding the trolley line. When the component of a vibration frequency corresponding to the frequency of a power supply for feeding the trolley line exceeds preset intensity, the insulation deterioration of the insulator is determined.
