PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise aid device capable of informing an exercising person of an appropriate walking pitch without reducing his/her desire for exercise. SOLUTION: The exercise aid device 10 calculates the walking pitch based on physical information of the exercising person and feature information of a walking course (step S5), displays the list of music data of a tempo nearly matching this walking pitch (step S6), and changes the tempo of music data selected from the list to a tempo matching the calculated walking pitch and reproduce the music data (step S8).
