PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable hanger securely holding a coat and being carried with a bag with one hand. SOLUTION: The portable hanger includes a hanging plate provided with an opening part. A coat is hung on the hanging plate from the inside. The coat is drawn from the opening part of the hanging plate provided with the opening part, folded into three layers and a hanging plate is fitted thereon. When the portable hanger is not used, contracting or folding the hanging plates makes the hanger compact and considerably easy to carry the same. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
