<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing the failure of an image such as a surface staining image by a reversely electrified toner in a copying machine, a printer and a facsimile. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus A having a toner supply device 1 in which toner 9 whose polarity is negative is stored and a developing device 2 performing development with supplied toner by using a surface potential difference between a developing roller 4 made negative by the application of developing bias and a photoreceptor 3, the reversely electrified toner 8 incorporated in the toner is electrically attracted by the toner 9 whose polarity is negative and a voltage applying member 7 made negative by the application of negative voltage, so that the supply of the reversely electrified toner 8 to the developing device 2 is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
