LIGHTING APPARATUS AND LIGHTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting apparatus for transmitting an optional frequency to a light receiving side without changing the brightness of the illumination light.

SOLUTION: Each of the lighting fixtures 1a, 1b is provided with: LEDs 12 acting like an illumination light source for emitting light in a visible light region through supply of a DC current via a resistor 11 from a DC power supply 10 to the LEDs 12; a FET 16 acting like a switch circuit for blinking the LEDs 12; and an oscillator 13, a dimmer control circuit 14, and a comparator 15 acting like a switch drive circuit for driving the FET 16 so as to fix the on/off time of the LEDs 12 blinked by the FET 16 at a prescribed ratio thereby changing the lighting frequency.
