<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form lock pieces corresponding to recording/reproducing devices different in mounting positions by the use of the identical die. <P>SOLUTION: This memory card connector 1 is mounted on a recording/reproducing device. Its casing part is formed by combining a plate 2 made of metal with a housing 3 made of plastics and can correspond with a recording/reproducing device different in mounting position by changing the bending of a lock piece formed by being cut and raised out of the plate 2 in the same direction. For example, when the lock piece 4 is formed at a low position, it is folded down simply at a right angle.
