<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body cover for a vehicle easily attachable to/detachable from the vehicle, easily and compactly foldable, without largely fluttering even when strong wind blows in its installed state on the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This body cover for a vehicle comprises hard beam parts 21 extended in a width direction, flexible cord parts 22 on both sides of the respective beam parts 21, and a plurality of rib parts 20 disposed in a forward-rearward direction installed on a sheet member 11, and communication space for ventilation is formed to the surface of an automobile 1 to prevent it from largely fluttering. By collecting the rib members 20, it can be easily and compactly removed from the automobile to be folded.
